In granting the right of subsoil use contract area boundaries (block) and the deposit may be in different ratios: 1) within the geological / mining lease is one or more fields, whose boundaries are entirely within the boundaries of the geological / mining lease, and 2) within the geological / mining lease is one or more fields whose boundaries extend beyond Contract Area in the free subsoil, and 3) within the geological / mining lease is one or more fields whose boundaries extend beyond the contract area for territories occupied by neighboring (other) mining companies. The first and second cases do not represent the subsoil for any complications, because in the former case, the problem with the boundaries it is not necessary at all, and in, the second the question of expanding the boundaries of the contract area is decided by the competent authority without competition. In the third case, it all depends on the circumstances, because the law, although it defines the general principles solve the problem, but ignores the important and significant issues connected with it. By the way, the definition of the term "deposit" given in the Law "On Subsoil and Subsoil Use" also does not eliminate the uncertainty in the whether the accumulation of mineral deposits located on the adjacent territories of contracting one or two different mine fields. So, what are the main principles of solving problems where the boundaries deposits extend beyond the contract territory occupied by another user of mineral resources? These principles are fully presented in an article 90 of the Law "On Subsoil and Subsoil Use". Cite this article in full: "1. In the case if part of the field, where the subsoil user carries out operations for the exploration or extraction, is located within the territory of another contract of the subsoil user, these mining companies are obliged by their own choice: 1) transfer its rights to conduct exploration and (or) production in compliance with the procedures for the transfer specified in the transfer of subsoil use rights, so that there is only one user of mineral resources, possessing the right to exploration and (or) production at this field, or were some of subsoil users with the right to subsoil use in part on the basis of one contract and 2) to conclude an agreement on joint exploration and production field as a whole with the corresponding modifications in the design documents, after agreeing a contract with the competent authority.
